The Centre is committed to meeting the developmental needs of children and young people in their growth, fostering their sense of social responsibility, enabling them to develop their talents and serve the community. Therefore, the Centre organizes various volunteer training and services on a regular basis to unite volunteers and enable them to give full play to their strengths in providing different services to different sectors of the community, thereby connecting the community and spreading warmth.

Volunteer Training – Cohesion and growth

The Centre regularly organizes groups or workshops on different themes to train people aged 6-24 and their parents to understand and learn various skills, so as to equip them with the knowledge and skills to perform volunteer services and develop their empathy. In addition to enhancing the ability of volunteers, volunteer training enables volunteers to unite in the service learning experience, learn to bind peers, hold the belief of “helping others and helping themselves”, and grow together.

Volunteer Service – Connect and spread love

The Centre will connect different stakeholders in the community and organize different types of volunteer services on a regular basis. Every festival, the Centre will provide warm up activities for the needy in the district, such as visiting the elderly centres in the district or visiting home, etc., to care for the elderly in the district and deliver supplies to them. Every year, the Centre will also launch a charity fundraising campaign for Caring for the Elderly Vouchers, in which fellow workers and volunteers work together to sell charity vouchers to help needy elderly service organizations raise funds and develop services for the elderly in need. In addition, the Centre will regularly organize carnival or community exhibition activities with different themes, and invite volunteers to prepare and assist in the management of the booths, so as to spread positive energy to the community through the booths. The Centre is committed to pioneering and developing diverse volunteer services to connect the community and spread warmth and love within the community, so as to achieve the goal of “embracing life and blessing the community”.
